Batman's Lament

I did this one just for fun. A few of my favorite artists paint superheros and they do so in elegant ways. I wanted this painting to have the same feel of a character painted by Michelangelo. I wanted batman to look as if he is being held by the night. He looks almost asleep because he is completely in his element. I worked on the pose trying to keep it from feeling completely off base, I hope I succeeded.
